Rebirth of Hope: A New Year’s Overture

hope

In the depths of a year that felt so bleak,
When days turned into to the darkest week,
I longed for hope to reappear,
A brand new start for a brand new year.

But now, the new dawn breaks the night,
With golden rays, so high and bright,
I step into the morning’s rays,
Embracing lifes brighter days

The wounds of yesterday may sting,
But in my heart, winter soon becomes spring,
A chance for growth, for second tries,
As regret are banished amongst the lies.

With courage forged in darkness past,
I’ll mend what’s broken, hope at last,
This year, a canvas, blank and clean,
A masterpiece of dreams unseen.

So let us bid the old year farewell,
The clock has struck it’s New Years Bell,
Our spirits strong, our hearts ablaze,
In this new start, we’ll escape the maze
