Poem – Revenge is Sweet

You misguided me through my youth
Told me lies I thought was truth
Give me your hands and guide me through
Even though all you want is what is what’s good for you
See me now I’m on my knees
Through blood torn ears, hear my pleas
Through hate filled eyes you see me stare
You know hell…I’ll meet you there
I trusted you with my heart and life
You stabbed me deep with a darkened knife
Left me bleeding, left me pleading
You saw me crying, thought I was dying
Kicked me hard when I was down
Spread the lies all over town
I had to learn to walk again
Unsupported the reborn slain
I had to bleed, look deep inside
Find who I was, I could not hide
Then I felt it wash over me
It was death not sympathy
Then I smelt you
What death had dealt you
The hunter finds
What’s yours is mine
I take your life like you took mine
Bleed for me, it feels so fine
I look deep into you stare
Recognise what is there
The same look in your eyes
When you left me to my blood and cries
I see the smoke you draw from your breath
I hope your entertaining death
As for me I am an emotionless soul
Devoid of feeling, with no control
