Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Dean.
Very sorry about these painful events! I’ve had similar thoughts myself when friends have died suddenly. At such times, I feel as if the rug has been pulled out from under me — I feel stunned. None of us can see these things coming, usually. The best I’ve ever been able to do is carry on within myself the best of who they were, trying to keep those beautiful characteristics of my friend alive – as a tribute – for as long as I can.
If it’s any consolation, Dean, you probably have many more friends than you know!! I mean …. I think of you as a friend, even though I’ve never lived in either England or Sweden with you near by. I loved hearing your voice this Easter morning! Can you feel better knowing that? I hope so!!!
None of us can be all the places- or with all the people – we’d like. So, until we’re all like Obi Wan Kenobi, we can only be in one place at a time …. unless we meet up on Twitter- spaces (like this one). Maybe, just maybe, we can meet face to face someday. …. I’ll give you a big hug in person then.
    Peace, Donna
