A love poem – Ring of Destiny

In a world full of misguided lies a shining light exists
Created for the only one who can wake me with a kiss
Raise me from the shadows, remove me from the pain
Shelter me from the barren cold, hide me from the rain
Eternal circumference that was made for you, are you really the one?
The bearer holds the destiny, as the Earth is to the Sun
Will many own the band before the bearer is revealed before my eyes?
Time may hold such answers as I cannot face no more lies
If she is the one in life, the one to wear the ring
Let the rainclouds lift this night and the Nightingale can sing
