The Path I Walk Alone (Poem)

The Path I Walk Alone (Poem)

Within the realm of verses, a tale it shall unfold,

Of a love once vibrant, now just growing cold.

A man set forth on a path that was just his own,

While she clung to memories, her heart was overthrown.

He ventured away, seeking a brand-new start,

Leaving behind a love that tore them apart.

She pleaded and begged, but he wouldn’t stay,

The bond they once shared soon turned into decay.

He embraced the freedom, a life so unconfined.

Yet she remained captive, lost in her own blind.

He sought out new passions, a flame now reignited,

While she clung to the past, her heart so still divided.

He danced with the sunlight, embracing in its rays.

While she lingered in darkness, lost in love’s dark maze.

He painted his canvas with vibrant love and delight,

While she drowned in memories, yearning for respite.

In his eyes shone a glimmer of a future unknown.

In hers, a reflection of rejection of love was now overthrown.

He pursued his dreams with in relentless stride.

While she held on tightly, unable to let go inside.

He treaded a fresh path, leaving footprints behind.

While she remained stagnant, love’s grip was so unkind.

He crafted a melody, a tune of new release,

While she clung to echoes, her obsession’s broken crease.

He built bridges to anew horizons now afar.

While she clung to ruins, love’s pure fading star.

He soared through the sky, where freedom now resides,

While she watched from the shadows, her heart it still abides.

And so their paths diverged, leading away,

He found solace in new love, day by day.

She stayed locked in the past, consumed by the pain,

Their story, a testament to love’s lingering strain.

He moved on, finding the light in another’s embrace.

While she lingered in darkness, lost in love’s trace.

Their love’s tale echoes, a symphony of regret,

As she remained obsessed, unable to forget.

In this tale of love’s passage, their fates intertwine.

One seeking liberation, the other trapped in love’s bind.

As he moves forward, leaving her obsession behind,

She remains locked in memories, lost, confined.
