I’m often scared of these voices
The ones that scream to me
Bringing darkness to my door
The light I cannot see
So tired of all the fighting
With my inner self
My heart turned to crimson black
I leave it on the shelf
What belief I once held true
Are lost within the night
My foundations crumble into dust
I’ve given up the fight
Engulf my fear in flames
I scream into the dark
A burning fire of silence
Forever leaves its mark
All that’s left is silence
Frozen on the floor
I’ll scream into the silence
Until I live no more
