Happy New Year!

Here we are again, another New Years Eve!

Some say that this year has gone fast. I think I would have to disagree. For this year was like a firework, it was lit at the beginning and slowly the expectations of an illuminating explosion were finally realised towards the end.

On a personal level,  it’s been a year of change. I am still living in Sweden but now in a totally different place. I love Norrköping but feel that 2013 maybe another year of change on the domestic front. I am not sure how long I will stay in Sweden for. Maybe one more year, maybe forever. It depends on many things that will happen next year.

It’s been something of a good year all round on the creative front. My first book was released; my first movie script completed and now there is much more about to happen in 2013.

Sports wise it was a phenomenal year. From the glory of Chelsea winning the champions league, to me supporting Linköping FC in every home and away game, last year, culminating of course with the unforgettable Olympics in my home city.

I only visited my family twice this year, and that is something that must change in 2013. Work will see me back in London at least once every 6 weeks so I will be making more trips home than I have recently. You get to an age, and you realise that family won’t be around forever despite what you feel.

Also met some lovely new friends in 2012. Want to give a mighty shout out especially to Karin who quite simply saved my neck on many occasions this year! Lisa for being a fabulous friend whilst she lived in Sweden and Jenny for being there when it mattered the most.

As 2012 draws to a close, 2013 promises to be a year of many challenges but ones that, as ever, I will face head on with optimism and hope.

Wherever you are, have a lovely evening and here are to a wonderful 2013!
