An Unbreakable Heart - A poem based on a person who has been through so much in life, their heart is unbreakableI crawled through all the darkness,Danced in the pouring rain,Refrained from giving in to you,So I now return the pain.I've something more than armour,Something stronger than a shield,An unbreakable will to survive,To life I will not yield.You dragged me to hell and back,Even the devil knew my name.Yet I didn't want the season ticket,I just simply left the game.How does it feel just knowingI'm the only one left here?Your methods could not work on me,Now you live in fear.For my heart, it cannot splinter,Nor shatter into glass,For it's as fluid as a river,Like wind blowing through the grass.So take your angered hatred,Aim it toward another soul,For mine is so unbreakable,And I'm fully in control.

Forever Near - A poem based on remembering someone who was part of your life when you were younger but have lond passed. Even in times of doubt, they are still with you.
