Cyclone of Regret (Poem) - A poem about regret in $Cyclone of Regret (Poem) - A poem about regret in love and hoping someone finds love again Eyes that love me dearly In a world where two exist, Where hands entwined together, Lips delicately kissed. Two hearts in an ocean, Sweeping to an unknown sea, A love forged by fate, On a ship called destiny. Now, it is all so broken, I am sorry for the pain, Dark clouds that I gave to you, My cyclone brought the rain. Tears, they cry a river, A waterfall streams down your cheek, Forgive me for my darkness, It’s absolution that I seek. A fractured heart can be mended, If you let me take the blame, The world is to discover, Release your inner flame. Your past, I know, has crumbled, The fault lies with me, It only makes you stronger, In this, I hope you see. Apologies are not enough, My words cut like a knife, Your best days are approaching, A new path into life. I know you can’t forgive me, Just one thing I regret: Is the distress I brought to you, I ask you to forget. Life isn’t all rainbows, That follow darkened days, Your heart deserves much better, Than my hurtful ways. #poetry #poem #writing$

Last night I saw some faces

That I thought I'd never see again.

Their faces hadn't changed,

But mine has, since then.

I know that I was dreaming,

But I won't forget what was said

Almost advice that I had needed,

Even though they are all dead.

When I am searching for the answers,

You come to me at night,

Whisper the words I need to hear: "

I have the will to fight."

You may have left this earth;

I watched you age and die.

Yet you still reach out when I need you

And whisper, "Live, don't cry."

The memories, they fade with years;

Photos are just a capture in space.

The younger generations won't ever know

The lines of laughter on your face.

I grow into the generation

Where time is rushing past,

But you are with me in my dreams at night,

Allowing me to live on and still last.

Pierce weak armored skin

Vultures of society hover above

Picking at innocence

Razor sharp intent

Quick to tear my flesh

Judgment blinded by clouded eye

Unaware of my true heart

They do not know me

They should not judge

Peer pressure brainwashed puppets

Dancing to the tune of societies dance

Light to dark one long nightmare

Falling into infinite space

Outside we are so different

Inside we both cry and bleed

Names they call me!

Words they hurt the most

Cut the deepest wounds.

Onward I go, walking best I can

Into the never ending wind of hate

How I long

How I yearn

For the sun to shine on us all

For we are all the same

Under blinding sun

A poem about a person that has a heart made of porcelain and how cruel words can make or break them.

As graceful as a swan,
Gliding on a lake,
Yet my legs are kicking under,
A silhouette of fake

You may judge me by the way I look,
Or how I speak and think,
But do you look down at me
And tell me I should sink

Walk past me laughing,
Don’t care if I am dead,
The thoughts that rebound
Inside my aching head.

Words cut like a knife to me,
So think before you speak,
For you don’t know my history,
Or just how I am weak.

I’m as fragile as a statue,
Just a piece of porcelain,
Don’t glue me back together,
That would be a sin.

Just please be kind and gentle,
For every word we say
Can cut someone into pieces,
Each and every day.
