The strangest dream of my life. Who can interpret this?

  • Dean

A Poem about hitting rock bottom in life and reali A Poem about hitting rock bottom in life and realising that the only way is up again.

Falling so far down

Into the darkness of despair,

To a place of isolation,

In a world that does not care.

Feeling all around me,

I try to hold on to a rope.

Just a feeling I can stand up,

A simple ray of hope.

My eyes squint into the darkness,

Making out a shape.

Perhaps a slab of granite,

Or a hero in a cape?

Looking up into the darkness,

I see a place to climb,

A distant light that beckons.

Now, this is my time.

For when you hit rock bottom,

Upwards is the only place to go.

Stand up and dust yourself off now,

It's onwards with the show.
