Life's Ripples - A new poem about casting a stone Life's Ripples - A new poem about casting a stone into a lake, the water is disturbed then after a while, like the water, life returns to normal

Staring into the water,
Reflections they distort my face.
Lines echo those around my eyes;
I see into the ripples I now embrace.

Drop a pebble into the water;
The lines they reach the edge
An everlasting wave of hope
That on my heart I pledge.

The water returns to normal;
Calmness reflects upon the lake.
No longer broken nature,
Just the silence left to break.

For underneath the water,
Just like in my heart, there’s life.
The stone sinks to the bottom,
Devoid of pain and strife.

The stone remains forever
Until the next is cast
A collection of hopes and dreams
That in our hearts will last.

So take your stone and throw it,
Cast your wish upon the tide.
Remember it forever,
Until it can no longer hide.

Natures Pure Resilience A poem about a rose growi Natures Pure Resilience

A poem about a rose growing in a war torn city. Natures pure resiliece

In a time of unknown certainty,
Where bombs rain down from the sky,
A solitary breath of nature
Stands upright, reaching high.

Ignorant of its surroundings,
While the world’s ablaze with fire,
Rising ever higher,
A tower from the pyre.

The days are steeped in sadness,
Explosions echo doom.
It stands in isolation,
A kaleidoscopic bloom.

Peace will return one day;
Perhaps we’ll share its flower.
For true strength lies in nature,
The Earth’s most potent power.
