This morning I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Juno Cristi. Juno runs Soulspeak which is a fabulous website aimed at sharing the creative ideas and thoughts to those around the world.
Looking at some of the people who have been interviewed so far I am honored to be among them. Juno is a brilliant writer and has written a superb collection of poems that I will be helping to translate into Swedish later this year.
It is a fantastic feeling when you meet a fellow writer who not only inspires you creatively but also makes you stop and think about life in general. I think the most astonishing aspect of all is that Juno does this all for nothing. It’s just her passion for writing and life itself that makes this website a must see website.
Full of variety, each person that has been interviewed offers something for us all to learn from. Charitable workers, authors, musicians or even people who just want to share creative thoughts it’s a beautiful website.
One of the questions that I was asked today was along the lines of “If you had one message to share to the world what would it be”. My reply was something along the lines of be yourself, be creative but above all be genuine. There are so many people that become diluted with trying to clone a particular style or person that they often lose focus of whom they truly are.
It’s people like Juno and all those that she has interviewed that make me smile. Just knowing the fact that there are people out there who have followed their creative dreams and succeeded still continues to inspire me no matter what level I am at.
