Shatterproof heart (Poem)

Shatterproof heart (Poem)

The rain falls in torrents
Cleanses deep into the soul
Following kaleidoscopic rainbow
Illuminates control

Dark skies disappear
Vanish as quickly as they came
Replaced by endless horizons
Where reality can now aim

No boundaries to fear
Nr shackles to hold you down
Or rules or regulations
It’s you that wears the crown

Life can be so fragile
Nothing is shatterproof
A castle is more than walls
It also needs its roof

Seeing life through your eyes
They’ve cried tears of mistrust
A heart that beats with emotion
Can never turn to rust

So run towards the sunrise
Let the warmth guide you in light
Nothing is impossible
Everything will be alright
