And everything they brought

Or what was going on
Yet I could read you like a lyric
And see you like a song
For I saw straight through you
The knives that were in my back
Pierced a heart free from emotions
No room for you to attack
With every move you made
I was two simple steps ahead
You’re simply playing catch-up
With the devil in your head
So sit there in your silence
Realize what is done
Your future is so unbalanced
While I bask in the sun
