The other day a friend said to me “Why are you helping me so much?”
I had to stop and think about this statement for a moment and then questions started to rebound around my head. Am I too nice? Do I help people too much?
After a few moments, I came to the sudden realisation that this is how I have been all my life and that maybe times have just changed in that people are just not trustworthy in others these days. It is a shame as one of my favourite motto is “Strangers are just friends we have not got to know yet”.
It is like when you are put in the classroom as a five year old for the first time, yet by the time you leave school these people are some of your best friends ever. I always go out of my way to help people in any capacity that I can and I never expect anything in return and it is sad to see that others find this behaviour odd.
So my question to you all is “Is being too nice and helpful to someone appear suspicious?”
