Lonely sea of nothing (Poem)

Lonely sea of nothing (Poem)

Entwined within our sunset

Emotions are ablaze

Love it led our future

Fuelled by summer rays

I took it all for granted

Became the perfect fool

Destroyed what I once loved

Forget the final rule

Pacts of purest passion

Torn apart by rage

A jealous green-eyed monster

Shackled to his cage

Years they passed so quickly

The memories they fade

Thinking of what we once had

A beauty masquerade

Should we ever meet

One sweet and sunny day

I’d look up at our sunset

And watch it fade away

A permanent reminder

The sun was once so strong

Eternal words are not enough

To say that I was wrong
