I remember when I was a child I used to love looking forward to
staying in hotels whenever I went away. The fact that someone would be
making me breakfast and tidying my bed each morning gave me a sense of
almost being regal. Maybe it’s changed with age but am I the only one
thinking that the level of customer service in hotels these days is just
getting worse?
Take the current hotel I am staying in.
I asked for a room with a view.
They also asked me if I would like fresh breakfast delivered to my room each morning, so I said yes.
Shocking!
