Sometimes dreams are meant to be deciphered and it is always interesting to do some kind of analysis about what a dream means. This is a rare occurrence for me as I am a chronic insomniac, often going days without any sleep at all. But last night’s dream where I did get some sleep was quite possibly the bizarre I have ever had. So if anyone is qualified or has any insight into what dreams mean then please can you unravel this little mystery.
It was back in time, around the 16th century, I was riding alongside King Arthur on a quest to find a hidden forest kingdom. Along the way I began to get flashbacks of the modern day era. We fought side by side with other knights yet every time my blade struck into my enemies flesh there would be a sensational scream that gave me constant headaches.
Anyway I found a zebra in the middle of the forest (as you do) and somehow magically shrunk it so that it fitted into my pouch. This continued along the quest, parrots, lions, donkeys and also a talking mouse seemed invisible to my fellow knights but I did shrink them into my magic pouch. Also it appeared that my fellow knights were drinking blood instead of wine and when the cup was passed to me it was pure ice inside.
I managed to lose my way and walking through a locked gate I awoke in the modern day. I was in a small seaside resort still dressed as a knight and all the shrunken animals were alive and intact. Making my way to a hotel I checked in for the night then put all of the animals into kennels (how I could fit a zebra and a talking monkey into a kennel is a mystery!)
The next day I was driving home and I realised that I had left the animals at the hotel. Blazing back in a car and my wheels were on fire I managed to release all the animals except Larry the mouse who was eaten by a Porcupine.
As the animals left the hotel they merged into a man who then stroked his beard, his eyes lit up and then vanished into the sky.
Ok professor of dreams…it’s over to you.
