Carefree (Poem)

Carefree (Poem)

In the morning sun, I greet the day,
With open skies and streets to play,
No engine’s roar, no tires screech,
Just nature’s whispers, calm and sweet.

My feet are free to roam the land,
No petrol thirst or traffic jammed,
I glide on paths of green and gold,
With stories of the earth, untold.

Each step a dance, each mile a song,
The city’s pulse, where I belong,
No hurried honks or rushing streams,
Just quiet lanes and peaceful dreams.

The seasons shift, the weather turns,
Yet still, my wanderlust yearns,
For journeys slow, for moments rare,
Where I can breathe the open air.

Through cobblestone and forest trail,
By ocean’s edge and mountain’s vale,
I find my way, with heart unbound,
In every step, a joy profound.

So here I stand, so here I stride,
With nature’s rhythm as my guide,
A carefree life, so pure and true,
A world of wonders to pursue.
